Overview (resum en anglès):

The GDELT Project is the largest open database ever created that gathers the human society behavior such as political meetings, conflicts, protests, etc. This thesis is about the use of this amount of information by applying methods such as data mining and machine learning. Therefore, there is a huge motivation to make a research of the very actual topic of Coronavirus pandemic with the information provided. It has been a very important and problematic worldwide fact which will mark the before and after of our lives and that is the main reason why it is a very interesting subject to analyze. Finally, the results obtained from the practical part gives us useful information such as the evolution of different types of international events, how it affected to different countries, etc.
