Overview (resum en anglès):
On 31 December 2020, the transitional period foreseen before the withdrawal of the United Kingdom agreement from the European Union (a process popularly known as Brexit) ended.

This withdrawal, despite the recently approved principle of pact on the text of a new "Trade and Cooperation Agreement" to govern the relationship between the United Kingdom and the European Union, poses all kinds of challenges and uncertainties yet to be elucidated.

In particular in the field of air transport, Aena network¿s airports with high traffic of British tourists, including Girona-Costa Brava Airport, may be conditioned on their current infrastructure and resources for border control in order to respond to a greater requirement in the passport control of British citizens, since they are considered as non-EU.

This dissertation aims to propose an improvement in the infrastructures of Girona-Costa Brava Airport and, in particular, to project the adaptation of the main floor space for departure flights to hold a centralized passport control and to respond to the increased demand for border control for passengers on flights to non-EU countries.

The methodology used in this paper is based on the practice of editing a constructive project relating to a construction in the airport field and, in particular, in a passenger terminal building.

The content of this dissertation is similar to one of the main administrative documents that make up a project, the Report. In order to technically describe and justify the project, the Report should provide sufficient information on the object, necessity, solutions and costs of the construction.

Also part of this paper are the graphic documentation provided in drawings as well as the documentation relating to the bill of quantity of the construction to be implemented, both included in the annex.
