Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
El TFG parte de un trabajo que consiste en analizar el contexto europeo de gobernanza
aeroportuaria en base a casos concretos.

En este TFG en particular, el foco se pone en la línea ¿market-based¿ de gobernanza
corporativa que es más común entre los aeropuertos grandes o principales y por ello se
focaliza en analizar en qué consiste ésta, qué aeropuertos se
gobiernan con esta lógica y qué pros y contras tiene respecto a un enfoque public-
based.

Overview (resum en anglès):
The idea of this project is to study the European airports in the field of governance and see how this issue has evolved over the years. In this case, the main airports with the most relevance in terms of passengers will be studied in more depth, which are precisely those that, apparently, have undergone de most changes, since they are the ones that attract the private sector the most due to their good conditions and benefits.

The main objective is to know, thanks to the extensive study accomplished, how airports have evolved in the field of governance and in what situation they are. In addition, to seek a reasoning and an explanation as to why this evolution has occurred and to understand how it will continue in the coming years.

What possibilities are there for an airport? Why are important airports often more privatized? Why might an airport be interested in being operated by a private and not a public entity? Is it always beneficial for an important airport to be operated by a private company? These questions, among others, are those that are raised during the study and are the ones that will mark the conclusions that can be reached.

After having carried out the study and after having analyzed the results, it can be seen that there is a clear dynamic towards privatization in the most important airports in Europe. And it is not surprising, because it is normal that a private company, whose objective is, among others, to obtain the highest possible profit, fixes itself on the airports with the highest number of passengers and revenues, since these are the most profitable for them. Even so, it is observed that there are exceptions and that the same not happen in all cases, since the issue of aviation and airports depends on many factors at the same time.
