The whole considered in the context of an aiport such as Andorra-La Seu d'Urgell, which is not currently equipped with these systems.
First, a technically viable solution has been designed, complying with the applicable technical regulations. Based on a cableway system, and electrical elements and components, most of which are installed new, due to the lack of previous installations or the egraded state of the elements.
Once a solution is projected, the execution budget has been made based on the ptojected solutions, to know the amount of the initial investment. A study has also been done on the maintenance costs of the projected beacon system. Once the approximate cost of the constuction works and its maintenance has been established, an economic study has been carried out, which indicates the viability of executing the works. Due to the fact, that according to the forecast of demand and income obtained, the payback period of the construction works will be ar most 20 years.
