Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
A partir de un software grabador público con licencia GPL, se
trata de programar un sniffer sobre lanes de Vigilancia
operativas en el Aeropuerto LEBL.

El sniffer debe ser tal que permita calcular las
prestaciones de calidad del sistema de Multilateración y SMR en
operación, según las MOPS de Eurocae correspondientes.

Estos parámetros deben alimentar a una Base de datos llamada
CORALV de servicios centrales de Enaire para su lectura vía

Overview (resum en anglès):
The Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (LEBL) features a Surface Movement Radar (SMR) and a Multilateration system (MLAT) for monitoring the movement of aircraft and vehicles on the airport's surface. Said systems must comply with the performance specification stipulated in the ED-116 and ED-117 Minimum Operational Performance Specification (MOPS) by EUROCAE. According to EUROCONTROL, the performance assessment of surveillance systems based on Opportunity Traffic (TOO) has priority over other approaches, as it is fully representative of the operational traffic and environment. This project, taking advantage of the reception of ADS-B transmissions at LEBL, has the objective of developing a software tool for calculating the performance metrics of the SMR and MLAT systems at this airport, as specified in EUROCAE's ED-116 and ED-117 MOPS, through the use of ASTERIX data streams that are recorded at the tower. Said tool must be able to be integrated in ENAIRE¿s continuous performance assessment system by delivering results that can be forwarded to the CORAL database, through which advanced diagnostics can be made. The final result of this project is the ASTMOPS software tool. It is an open source software written in \Cpp that allows conducting the calculation of surveillance performance metrics for SMR and MLAT on any airport, through the use of ADS-B references for TOO analysis, or DGPS references for test vehicle or flight trial analysis. The program implements a track association algorithm through which it has been possible to solve the challenges found in previous projects with regards to the performance assessment of the SMR system. In order to extend the use of the tool to any airport in the ENAIRE network, a segmentation encoding mechanism in KML format has been developed taking advantage of the data readily available in Insignia. At the end of this work, the results delivered by the ASTMOPS tool when applied to 9 LEBL verification scenarios are presented.
