Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
El trabajo final de grado tiene por objeto evaluar mediante simulación el funcionamiento
de la pista de un aeropuerto con el fin de determinar su capacidad.

La simulación se basa en un modelo de trayectorias como el propuesto por Horonjeff y se
evoluciona con algunas variaciones relativas a separación y secuenciación. El modelado
del sistema se lleva a cabo mediante una aproximación a los sistemas orientados a
eventos discretos.

Overview (resum en anglès):
Capacity as the main performance indicator of the airport system depends on many factors and determining it is a complex task. While the usual application of capacity curves is the evaluation of historical airport performance data, the aim of this work is to design a global view where we can generate graphs of capacity curves based on airside simulation in different operational situations.

A simulation model has been made to calculate the airside capacity of an airport, the layout of which may consist of a system of one or two parallel runways operating independently, dependently, or segregated.

The simulation model is a simplified and virtual replica of a real system that, given the required levels of accuracy and detail, reflects the set of relevant geometric and procedural features. Algorithms allow realistic simulations to be performed using a time-changing environment that can be configured by setting a series of input and control variables.

Since capacity is not a fixed or static value, the results are presented in the form of capacity diagrams, where the composition of the fleet is completely random and the mix of operations runs from a state of maximum priority on departures to another of maximum priority for arrivals. These diagrams provide the user with a graphical representation of the capacity for each runway configuration.

If what is sought is more detail, capacity curves can be made for each desired operational situation, determined among others by a specific mix of aircraft and other control parameters, of which the influence on the capacity set can be visually analyzed.
