Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
El objetivo de este trabajo es realizar un estudio de la
viabilidad y los procesos que implicaría la minería espacial,
así como el impacto socioeconómico que tendría esta industria
en la sociedad. Se trata de un estudio en el que se evaluaran
diversos aspectos ya mencionados y otros aspectos de esta
nueva industria como pueden ser:
- Viabilidad con base lunar
- Viabilidad en Marte
- Legislación.
- Impacto medioambiental.
- Análisis de los recursos disponibles en cuerpos celestes.
- Metodología.
- Instalaciones
- Equipo y maquinaria.
 
Overview (resum en anglès):
This thesis focuses on the concept of space mining, analysing its current state and, subsequently, comparing it to land-based mining.

Defining the negative impacts of traditional mining, such as environmental and social consequences, helps understand the benefits that this new concept introduces. Nonetheless, potential adverse repercussions of the implementation of space mining are also studied throughout this work.

Moreover, research about the economic viability of the activity is presented in order to clarify the inversions needed and the profits that can be obtained.

Finally, the different mining objectives in various types of celestial bodies are explained and evaluated to assess their feasibility, whilst indicating the hypothetical extraction methods that are currently being considered.
