This document contains the memory of my Final Degree Project (TFG), which has focused on making improvements to the Classpip application, a gamification tool for teaching in which various EETAC students contribute with other improvements with their TFGs.

Gamification is a teaching method that had a significant impact on society as of 2008, due to the fast technological progress, although the benefits of implementing this methodology have already begun to be investigated for years before. The main objective is the improvement of knowledge absorption, improvement of skills and all the growth progress of the student in the learning period through interactive or mechanical games. These games or mechanics can be adapted to the knowledge or skills to be imparted, as well as to the student's abilities, to achieve maximum efficiency and obtain a positive result.

My contribution in this joint project is the improvement of certain existing functionalities in the application as well as the initial implementation of a new type of game: the Escaperoom game. This type of game consists of immersing the player in a graphic and interactive interface in which they will have to overcome the difficulties proposed by the teacher to complete it.

To conduct this new implementation, in the first instance an initial layout of the game was made with the necessary characteristics that it had to have, discussed with the tutor. Subsequently, an analysis of technologies that could cover those needs and that were within the resource restrictions of the project was conducted. Finally, once the tool was selected, all the features of the game to be implemented and improved in the future were defined.

Throughout the document, we will see the detailed process to bring to reality this project and make it a useful tool within the Classpip application.
