| Due to the great growth of companies in digital environments and the great
increase in the use of microservices in their infrastructures (trend from monolith to microservices), the need to create new technologies has arisen. These technologies, called orchestration tools, are capable of providing: High availability, scalability, data recovery through backups and the complete management of hundreds of containers at the same time. Therefore, today, they are considered essential in the development of large infrastructures. Throughout the chapters of the project that I deliver, we will deal mainly with this type of technology, where you will see: The design and deployment of infrastructure using orchestration tools, validation and deployment of a monitoring system, evaluation tests of the different deployments carried out and verification of their proper functioning. This project will allow us to see the great potential that these orchestration tools have and the importance that they have acquired in companies for the rapid deployment of their infrastructures. Another point from which we benefit from this type of technology is the reduction of energy costs and the improvement of sustainability, mainly in cloud deployments. So the environmental impact that we can cause is reduced thanks to these orchestration tools. This improvement in the environmental impact is largely due to the good planning of the deployments that are carried out within the systems that use orchestration tools. Maximizing in this way the use of the resources that we have on our servers. Therefore, we avoid the inefficient use of resources and consequently avoid the need to incorporate new servers. |
