El trabajo tratará sobre el diseño de un programa para tratar de
una forma más eficiente la gestión del mantenimiento de una flota
de aeronaves ligeras, generalmente utilizadas en la enseñanza de
pilotos y en aviación no comercial.
La aplicación será capaz de plasmar las inspecciones de
mantenimiento a efectuar en una orden de trabajo para que unos
supuestos mecánicos puedan realizar las revisiones.
 
Overview (resum en anglès):
The project is based on two different parts. First of all, a theoretical part about the regulations imposed by the legislative bodies, those responsible for ensuring the safety of air transport and everything related to it and also for regulating aircraft maintenance organizations. In this part, we will focus on the EASA regulations, which provide most of the documentation and approvals directly related to aircraft maintenance.

In addition, a deep learning of the requirements to be met by a maintenance organization will be required, in order to get the approval for the organization and work over the established safety minimum. Therefore, we will understand how to manage the maintenance of an aircraft and we will be able to find all the necessary documentation to establish the maintenance program correctly.

Thanks to this first analysis, the second part of the project is ready to be adequately addressed. This part consists of the design of a program for the management of the maintenance of a fleet of light aircrafts, specifically the Diamond Aircraft aircraft, the DA20-A1. In the first place, a basic analysis of the DA20-A1 is made in order to get to know the plane we are dealing with. Later, the different aircraft maintenance manuals are studied to understand which revisions must be carried out in its maintenance program.

The maintenance tool will be designed using Visual Basic. The program will help the user manage the maintenance of a DA20-A1 in a more efficient and easy way. The program's interface is userfriendly allowing the user the analysis of the different planes in his fleet so he can control the status revision of each plane. In addition, it allows the engineer to generate a work order with all the necessary documentation and with the inspections to be carried out by the mechanics, as well as the documentation that has been used.
