    Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
    A stereoscopic camera system is capable of measure the distance of an object using the images of two diferent cameras knowing the separation between them. The system is able to detect if an object is in a determinate region and the distance to it through the processing of the two camera signals. If an object is detected inside the area with a distance lower than a threshold, an external signal is generated.

    The TMS320DM814x is a DaVinci platform that includes an ARM Cortex A8 and a floating point DSP C674x that makes it suitable for digital video systems. To execute the migration, the api C6EZACCEL would be used that interacts between the ARM and the DSP that has its own library (DSPLIB). The C6EZACCEL has several functions implemented but some of them need to be optimized or even created again in order to reduce the execution time of the algorithms. The target of the project is to reduce the actual execution time of 5sec running in Matlab to at least 100ms running in the DaVinci Platform
