Overview (resum en anglès): | |
After my last year in Aeronautical engineering degree, I have done a six-month internship in the Airbus Flight and Integration Tests centre and more particularly, in the simulator operations and support service (EVAIS). I have had the opportunity to work in one of the different projects to improve the efficiency of the use of simulators. First of all, a situation analysis has been made in order to understand how integration simulators work and what the simulator manager role during a test session. Besides, I have developed a new supporting documentation structure adaptable for all different simulators (A350, A400M, A380, Long Range and Single Aisle) achieving with the simulator managers requirements. Then, I scheduled weekly meetings with the A350 managers team to feedback the project progress. Thanks to these meetings, I was able to get closer to the real needs. At last, when the A350 Simulator Masterdoc was done, I verified that it complies with the simulator managers expectations and tested its efficiency improvement while timing the response time of each manager. Regarding the results, the preliminary conclusions were positive despite some improvements had to be made to the document up-to-date issue. At the end, managers acknowledged that the A350 Simulator Masterdoc is a very useful supporting tool. |
