Overview (resum en anglès): | |
The aim of this project is the cardiac monitoring of a single person through the study and development of electronic systems that enable us to get it.
This cardiac monitoring involves obtaining SCG (Seismcardiogram) and GCG (Gyrocardiogram) signals, created by the linear acceleration and angular velocity, registered respectively by accelerometer and gyroscope sensors placed on the surface of the person's chest, as a result of the cardiac activity. These SCG and GCG signals are frequently used to detect the heart malfunctioning and can be obtained easily and with low cost instrumentation. The trustworthiness of these signs has increased as the electronic sensors and accelerator device have been evolving. Parallel to the main objective of the research, a wireless communication system will be developed in order to connect each of the sensors that provide the cardiovascular data. So as to do that sensor network, a study of the best and the most efficient way of communication had been done to match the needs of the communication between nodes. |
