The project that we will see bellow is about the implementation of an app based on the project Classpip, which is going to be integrated in a learning platform using the protocol LTI. This is a protocol developed by the IMS Learning Global Consortium to offer a way to easily and securely connect learning applications and platforms. The Classpip application uses the gamification concepts, which is a methodology based on using technics specific to games, to increase motivation and improve the learning experience in educational environments. Currently Classpip consists of five different interconnected projects: Classpip-Service which is the API, Classpip-Dashboard which is a web application, Classpip- Server which is a notification service, and finally Mobile-Profe and Mobile- Student which are mobile applications. The goal of this project is to develop an application that implements some of the functionalities offered by the project Classpip-Service being able to integrate this application into a learning platform using the LTI protocol. For this purpose, we did a study of the current LTI protocol implementations compatible with NodeJS, and therefore select the most convenient one for our project. Then, we choose several functionalities already developed in other Classpip project to implement in our project using the services offered by the Classpip- Services API. Finally, in the report we will see in detail the process followed to carry out the project, starting with the study of the LTI protocol and its implementation, including the criteria followed to choose the most adequate package to use. We will also see the application development process, how is the code structured and the different tests and evaluations carried out to check the correct functioning of the application. Finally, we will see which conclusions we extracted from fulfillment of this project and the contributions that it has generated for us. |
