Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Roquetas de Mar és una de les ciutats situades al conegut mar de plàstic, a la província d'Almeria. És també un exemple de ciutat resultant d'un model de creixement basat en la productivitat enlloc del confort dels seus habitants: l'agricultura i l'especulació urbanística han creat un conflicte i una situació de desigualtat entre aquests dos teixits. Tot i haver estat un factor positiu per l'economia, ha tingut conseqüències devastadores pel paisatge i el medi ambient.

El projecte pretén donar resposta a un límit que confronta ciutat i hivernacles. L'objectiu passa per projectar un nou model de creixement per a les ciutats del mar de plàstic, aportant solucions urbanístiques, socials i mediambientals mitjançant una transició progressiva entre agricultura i ciutat.

Overview (resum en anglès): Roquetas de Mar is one of the cities located in the well-known 'sea of plastic', in the province of Almeria, Spain. It is also an example of a city resulting from a growth model based on productivity instead of the comfort of its inhabitants: agriculture and urban speculation have created a conflict and a situation of inequality between these two fabrics. This model has had devastating consequences for the landscape and
the environment, despite its positive economic impact.

The proposal aims to respond to a boundary tat confronts the city and the greenhouses. The aim is to project a new growth model for the cities of the plastic sea, providing urban, social and environmental solutions through a progressive transition between agriculture and the city.

This intervention proposal is mainly about establishing a circular route at the limit of the city ¿ between buildings and greenhouses ¿ through a green ring that recognizes the
existing nature and landscape: it connects, naturalizes and activates the boundary.
