| Overview (resum en anglès): | |
| In this work we have implemented an artificial intelligence engine which emulates a human player for the card game called mus. The engine could be used, for example, in an
application developed to play mus in a computer. Besides, if the application allows to play online, the AI engine could be used in situations where is no enough human players to start the game. We have realized a complete theoretical study to obtain the probabilities of all possible hands. This study allows to establish a game strategy with different difficult levels. Together with this theoretical study we have also done simulations to complement it and to expands the knowledge of the game. Finally, applying both studies, we detail three types of artificial intelligence engine, their clearly-defined strategies used in any match. For each one, we show the decisions made in the critical situations and their consequences. For the engines implementation, we have programmed one capable to participate in a online mus game developed by university workmates. This one permits to play online with other people. With our own project it includes the possibility to play with four persons at the same time. |
