The first part of the project explains the characteristics, causes and consequences of icing and systems to prevent it and remove it. And explores into the winter current plan of the airport. Answer the question about the justification of building a platform for the prevention and removing of icing.
The second part is a study of the characteristics of the platform. The elements of the study are: the location of the platform in the airport considering the purposes for which it built, its size according to the prognosis of airport operations and the use of the platform both aircraft and other equipment that they use, access from the existing taxiways to the platform and from the platform to the taxiways, and the calculation of the pavements required for each area, its structure, dimensions and mechanisms of maintenance and repairs. The third part discusses the equipment selected for the uses of the platform and its location into the platform. They are divided into fixed equipment, where the liquid is deposited for operations; mobile equipment, which is responsible of the operations related to the icing, and the liquid itself, with its types. The fourth part is a study of waste treatment detailing the systems used for drainage. I The size of the pipes are determined, their final destination may not be the same for contaminated water and clean water. In the fifth part is explained the work plan designed to interfere the least with the normal operation of the airport. As the process to be followed to achieve the benefits calculated in the second part. The sixth and final part is an estimate calculation of the budget needed to build this platform. There has also been a study on the cost of this document. |
