Overview (resum en anglès):
The main goal of this project is to create an online surfer community through a web platform where you can access to uploade and download photos in low and high quality.
Mainly there are two user types; The photographer and surfer. The first one is responsible for taking pictures of the surfers from the beach and upload them later to the web and the last one can proceed to download or purchase the photos. At the same time, our goals are also: developing a notification system between surfers and photographers, a website to check the weather forecast and a news channel. We mainly offer a solution to the shortage of photos that have no professional surfers with a set of ICT tools.
The work methodology carried out during the project is based on a comprehensive definition of the phases that we are going to make; which they are definition, design, development and final documentation of the project, assigning responsibility for development in a given time. PERT and GANTT were really usefully too, the chart reflects the relationships between tasks and the time it takes to perform them. As a result, it has allowed to organize and have a general control of all project status.
Finally, we can conclude saying that we have managed to accomplish all goals that we proposed. Conducting a benchmarking for obtaining the basic features of the pages of purchase/sale of photography, an embodiment of the outlines of the user interfaces followed by the creation of the application, tools to minimize the threats software development, launching a real server to operate the product and a great project management that it has guaranteed a successful outcome.
