Overview (resum en anglès): | |
The aim of this project is to build a private Seaplane Base in Catalunya, specifically in the reservoir of Sant Antoni. It would be used for sportive, promoting and training operations purposes of light amphibious airplanes. It would also be used by firefighter amphibious aircrafts being able to fly mainly in daylight conditions. The Seaplane Base is going to be located in the west bank of the reservoir, in the municipality of Salàs de Pallars (Lleida). The facility consists of earth infrastructures and an area of manoeuvres. This last one is mainly formed by the takeoff and landing canal and a rolling canal delimited by buoys. Each aspect needed for the incorporation of a facility with these characteristics to the Spanish Airport Net is going to be studied, such as: interventions and buildings needed to carry them out, current legislation and laws in our country, the compatibility with the surrounding airspace, the actual meteorology in the selected area and the measures to produce the smallest impact on the environment. It required different softwares, as Integrated Noise Model (INM) to study the noise generated by the aircraft AutoCad 3D and Vissir3 for Geological and Cartographical Institute of Catalunya for map generation. Nowadays there is not a remarkable register of a private facility with these characteristics. This is the study of the viability of an unprecedented project which its development would be possible if financier desired. |
