Overview (resum en anglès):
This Final Degree Project focuses on the development of an automated system for monitoring and analyzing fuel prices in Spain using public data. The project involves creating a complete architecture that enables the downloading, storage, querying, and visualization of this information in a structured and accessible way.
The main objective is to facilitate access to up-to-date information on fuel prices through a self-managed, autonomous, and replicable tool that enables data queries by geographic area, fuel type, or temporal trends.
To achieve this, the system is composed of several components: a daily data ingestion script, a relational database optimized to avoid redundancies, a REST API built with open-source technologies, and an interactive visual interface using dynamic dashboards. All services have been deployed on a Raspberry Pi, enabling continuous operation with minimal energy consumption.
As a result, a fully functional system has been developed that automates the entire data processing pipeline, proving that it is possible to build efficient, accessible, and sustainable technological solutions using limited resources and free software.
