| The purpose of this project is to create a software solution tool to transform how organizations in highly regulated industries manage compliance checklists. Traditionally, creating and maintaining these checklists involves a labor-intensive, manual review of regulatory documents, internal policies, and procedural guidelines-often leading to delays, errors, and compliance risks.
The tool automates and streamlines this process by intelligently ingesting input from a variety of structured and unstructured sources, including documents (PDF, Word, Excel), official regulations, and web links. The system extracts relevant compliance requirements, identifies actionable items, and organizes them into dynamic, audit-ready checklists. It should allow users to select the audit scope, such as specific regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO, EASA, FDA, GDPR), departments, systems, or operational domains. Based on the selected scope, it generates a tailored checklist that reflects the latest compliance requirements relevant to the organization's context. Additionally, this project also will allow you to integrate AI to track document changes over time and maintains a historical record of checklist evolution. In future iterations, the tool will support powerful comparison features that highlight differences between previous and current checklist versions-automatically flagging missing content or updates introduced by revised source documents. |

| Overview (resum en anglès): | |
| This project presents the development of a software tool designed to streamline the audit process for Air Operations regulations. The software extracts regulatory information from PDF versions of the Air Operations document and integrates it with data provided in an Excel file. Users can select a specific audit, and the tool automatically displays the applicable regulations along with their associated guidance material. For each regulation and its corresponding AMC, the program generates dedicated evaluation frames that facilitate a structured review process. These frames enable the user to assess compliance, adding comments to support audit decisions, and attaching evidence files as documentation.
Once the evaluation is complete, the software generates a ZIP file that can optionally include a folder with all attached evidence, a folder containing a PDF with the applicable regulations for the selected audit, and the final audit report. This report presents the evaluation of the audited regulations and their AMCs, and can optionally include user comments. The report format is flexible and can be generated in both PDF and Word formats. The software significantly reduces repetitive tasks involved in both preparing and conducting audits, thereby increasing the efficiency of these processes and providing a more organized and reliable approach to auditing. The developed tool demonstrates the potential of software solutions to improve regulatory compliance processes and enhance operational efficiency. |
