| Con más de 12 bases y dos modelos de avión de fuselaje estrecho Volotea cuenta con
presencia por gran parte de europa. En algunas de estas bases, como las del norte de España, tienen servicios de tierra propios que les asisten en los aeropuertos de Oviedo y Bilbao. El objetivo de este trabajo es comparar que es más conveniente para esta compañía teniendo en cuenta todos los distintos factores, desde el económico a los retrasos que se generan. Una vez se sepa qué es más conveniente y los factores de los que dependa, debería hacerse un análisis más detallado en cada base para saber la viabilidad en ella. |

| Volotea is a low cost European carrier that operates flights point to point.
The airline was growing successfully in the last years carrying each year more passengers than the last one as Europe aviation was doing last years. Proof of the growth was the aperture of new bases as well as new routes each year from his foundation in 2011. However Covid-19 pandemic made the whole industry shake, all global aviation and society was suddenly involved in a sanitary crisis like no other in the recent years. The crisis lead to the cancellation of millions of flights that had negatively reverberate on the income of all airlines in the world. This project has the aim of showing in conjunction the global image of the sector during the pandemic as well as the results of Volotea in 2020, those will be compared with the results the Airline had in the previous year as well as the results of similar model airlines in 2020. |
