Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
The scope of this TFG is divided in two main areas. The first
aspect that will be tackled is an structural analysis of the
3Cat8 satellite developed by NanoSatLab as a whole using mainly
ansys software. The analysis will take into account all the
components modeled and available by the time the work is done.
The analysis performed will range from modal simulations to
random vibration simulations as well as shock and static
structural simulations. The report will also contain a detailed
description of the simulation boundary conditions, methods and
contacts used and its results.

The second part of the report will be the continuation of two
previous TFG's on the mechanical structure, design and deployable
system for a deployable occultation GNSS antenna that is
contained in the 3Cat8 mission. The aim of this section is to
document all the design changes needed for the antenna to work as
well as a series of tests to prove the viability of those
changes. At the end of this part a detailed description of the
results and aportations to the project will be made.

To sum up, the report will have two different parts which at the
same time interconnect since the results of the simulations can
dictate the antenna design as well as the antenna design can
drastically change the simulation results.

Overview (resum en anglès):

This project is the continuation of two previous TFGs about the mechanical design and
mechanisms of a Fresnel Zone Plate Antenna developed in the NanoSat Lab. An in-house
developed antenna that wants to test and prove the viability of an innovative design for
CubeSats deployable antennas.
This work tackles two main topics from the design process of this deployable antenna. The
first is some of the design changes of the antenna and the reasoning behind them as well
as the design of the deployment mechanism. The second one is the structural analysis
of the 3Cat8 6U structure with the required changes to host the antenna as well as the
antenna¿s structural simulation
