| Desenvolupament d'un sistema de processament de vídeo utilitzant
mètodes de visió per computador per extreure informació de retransmissions d'esports. Caldrà detectar els jugadors i seguir- los (tracking) al llarg de la seqüència de vídeo. L'estudiant programarà el sistema en Python utilitzant models disponibles de detecció i seguiment d'objectes. |

| The main objective of this thesis is to apply state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms to the field of sports, specifically football. The process involves researching open source algorithms and their implementation to our case scenario, in order to perform the automatic detection, tracking and re-identification of the typical elements in a football field in a real time match. Tracking is the detection and identification of an object through a sequence of frames, while re-identification is the technology that allows to associate a same object in different parts of a video to a same identity. | |
