    Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
    El objetivo principal de este proyecto es lograr planificar los diferentes parámetros configurables del estándar DVB-T2 siguiendo la normativa establecida en el Report ITU-R BT.2254 sobre frecuencia y planificación de redes para DVB-T2. Posteriormente se realizarán medidas sobre algunos de los párametros del estándar DVB-T2 y se compararán los resultados con la normativa para intentar aproximar qué diferencias puede haber.

    Nuestro proyecto se ha realizado siguiendo la metodología propuesta por Abertis Telecom y resume los siguientes apartados:

    1.- Descripción del estándar DVB-T2 por bloques y comparación de las novedades que aporta con respecto al estándar DVB-T.

    2.- Descripción de medidas que pueden garantizar un nivel de cobertura y que garantizan evitar interferencias con otros sistemas de RF.

    3.- Planificación de redes DVB-T2:
    • Tipos de recepción que analizaremos.
    • Elección de los parámetros configurables de DVB-T2.
    • Cálculo del balance de potencia (Link Budget) para cada uno de los tipos de recepción utilizados.

    4.- Simulación de diferentes escenarios de despliegue y planificación:
    • Estudios de cobertura para todos los tipos de recepción analizados
    • Estudios de degradación de cobertura para analizar el porcentaje de población interferido y aplicación en un caso real.
    • Estudio de los ecos generados por la propia red (autointerferencia).

    5.- Realización de campaña de medidas sobre:
    • Degradación de C/N y pérdidas de altura.
    • Variación y degradación del parámetro de calidad MER.

    6.- Conclusiones y líneas futuras de trabajo.
     
    Overview (resum en anglès):
    The aim of this project is to plan the different parameters of the DVB-T2 standard following step by step the regulations of the ITU-R BT.2254 Report, which talks about frecuency and network planning aspects of DVB-T2.
    Subsequently, some of the main parameters in DVB-T2 are measured and the results will be compared with the regulation. Differences between them will be performed
    .
    Our project has been done following Abertis Telecom methodology. The main sections are presented below:

    1.- Description of the DVB-T2 standard and comparison with the previous standard DVB-T. The novelties will be explained.

    2.- Analysis of the measures that can guarantee a level of coverage and avoid interferences with other RF systems.

    3.- Network DVB-T2 planning:
    • Reception modes.
    • Election of configured DVB-T2 parameters.
    • Link Budget calculation for each kind of reception method.

    4.- Simulation f different deployment scenarios:
    • Coverage studies for every analyzed reception method.
    • Studies on the coverage degradation for an application in a real case.
    • Study of echos from the network itself (self-interference).

    5.- Measurements of:
    • C/N deterioration and height loss.
    • Variation and degradation of the quality metric MER.

    6.- Conclusions and future lines of work.
