L'objectiu d'aquest treball serà identificar i definir tots
aquells processos que es duen a terme a la oficina tècnica de una aerolínia que es puguin migrar del paper a un format digital. Així com tots processos que es tindran que portar a terme mes endavant ja sigui manteniment, logística, actualitzacions del software. |

Overview (resum en anglès): | |
The objective of this TFG is to make theoretical analysis about one of the most critic risks
about the Electronic Flight Bag implementation on a big scale ina an airline: to updtae the information of this systems using remote means. The current implemented system makes use of central servers, that means the whole network relies on the integrity and availability of such servers. It also may prove troublesome the fact that we need to download the update as a whole in a single session. If the download isnt completed in such session the progress will be lost and well need to start the whole process again. We start with an operational analysis to show how this may have an impact and the possibility that there are airplanes that wont have the update at the end of the day. Thats why this TFG also puts special attention on the possibility of introducing a new P2P protocol that I decided to call Hugin to fulfill a support and backup role for the current updating system. We also specify what it would be the first version of the connexion algorithm and different messages that could be used in order to work. Another important matter to keep in mind is the communication with our EFBs through the 4G network, we will pay special attention to the parts that most affect to our application. The current IPv4 network makes it quite difficult to connect to specific users who use a common public IP, thats the case of users that uses 4G networks. The solution that we offer here is the use of IPv6, but given that it is not yet fully implemented in the spanish general network, we will use the transition technology Teredo developed and implemented by Microsoft. That network allows IPv6 connexions through IPv4 networks and multiple NATs. |
