| El siguiente trabajo consiste en desarrollar un sistema que
permita monitorizar los elementos de protección individual de los operarios a pie de obra en el sector de la construcción. Un sector que aún no ha llegado la digitalización y con un alto índice de siniestralidad, siendo en España el sector con el mayor índice. Para ello se desarrollará una aplicación intuitiva para el operario, la cual permitirá comunicarse con los elementos de protección. Este trabajo desarrollado junto con CIMNE es una parte del proyecto BIMIoTICa el cual pretende desarrollar nuevas tecnologías construyendo así un ecosistema tecnológico para prevenir los riesgos laborales en el sector de la construcción. Los elementos de protección individual como las zonas peligrosas irán dotados con unos sensores que se comunicarán vía Bluetooth con la aplicación. Lo que permitirá alertar al operario si los elementos de protección no están correctamente colocados o si se acerca a alguna zona de peligro durante su jornada laboral. Estas alertas, que podrán ser sonoras o visuales, también se enviarán al punto central de control de la empresa. |

| The following project, Monitoring of personal protective equipment in the construction sector using mobile devices, is to develop a system that allows monitoring the individual protection equipment of workers in the construction sector. An area where digitization has not yet arrived and with a high accident rate, being the sector with the highest index in Spain. In order to do this, an intuitive, simple and graphical mobile application will be developed for the construction worker, which will allow communication with the protection equipment providing warnings and thus prevent possible risks.
This work has been carried out jointly with the CIMNE ICT team and is a part of the BIMIoTICa Project. Also called Digitization of Occupational Risk Prevention Processes in the Construction Sector, it is made up of the company CIMNE and the construction company COMSA. It aims to develop new technologies, building a technological ecosystem to prevent occupational hazards in the construction sector. The individual protection equipment that have allowed us to monitor the construction worker in this project have been the helmet, the vest and the boots. These elements, along with the hazardous areas located in the construction zones, will be equipped with several sensors. The mobile application will communicate with these devices via Bluetooth and each interval the data collected by the sensors will be checked. This will allow the construction worker to be alerted if the individual protection elements are not properly equipped, if he is approaching a dangerous area or if the temperature or height are not adequate during his working day. These alerts, which may be both audible and visual, will also be sent to the company's central control point for future monitoring. |
