Overview (resum en anglès):
The aim of this project is the implementation of the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) in the cabin of the fleet of the Company called Flightline. Model Fairchild Swearingen Metroliner. Everything with a common objective, increase the safety in the air operation of the company. The EFB consists in an iPad containing the navigation charts, flight documentation, company manuals, and other documentation needed.

This project is divided in two main parts, due to its extension. The first one refers to the regulations, it contains the budgets, regulatory analysis, risk analysis, among others.

The second part, this one, include the operational testing, all the documentation needed to implement the change, an exhaustive analysis of the software and hardware, the training courses for the pilots and ground crew, the change management (from an administrative point of view) and the realization of a DOA (Design organisation approval), to make a modification to the aircraft.

Finally, is being demonstrate, with the performed tests and the satisfaction of the flight crew, that all the objectives of the are being fulfilled. It is verified that the errors have been minimized and therefore the risks. At the same time, it provides them more facilities to perform habitual tasks and more free space in the cabin, that it is translate as more comfort to the cabin crew.

As part of the annex, there is the MPPE (manual of procedures and EFB policy) and also the documentation used by the maintenance department in order to perform the DOA, to install two new USB port charges in the cockpit.
