Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Make a preliminary study of new ADSB applications based on research
performed at universities around the world, bachelor/master/phd
thesis, technological centres, private companies, etc.
Perform state of the art on ADSB applications, describe most
relevant ADSB application ideas and/or research and the market
niche using Aistech Space data (and other sources), pick most
promising idea and build the sw tool, test the tool with Aistech
Space ADSB data.
 
Overview (resum en anglès):
ADS-B presents itself as the surveillance technology that will provide aircraft controlling for
years to come.
By virtue of its broadcast nature, private companies such as Aistech Space are able to
obtain and process huge amounts of real aircraft trajectory data and develop their own
products and algorithms for commercial use.
The first part of this project consists of conducting research on the cutting edge ADS-B
derived applications in order to select a viable candidate to be developed in the second part.
The elected topic was a tool for predictive maintenance against adverse effects of dust
ingestion in wind turbines.
