Overview (resum en anglès):
The aerospace industry has been in operation for more than 100 years, since the beginning of the 20th century, this sector has always been at the forefront of technology and therefore constantly changing. Today, thanks to it, we have managed to reach limits that were unimaginable in those years. Surpassing the speed of sound, reaching higher in the sky than ever before, even reaching into space.

For this purpose of speed and range, companies such as Reaction Engines Ltd were born, developing an engine capable of reaching Mach 5, using innovative cooling systems for its turbojet engine such as the precooler system. But what if we could further improve this turbojet engine by adding, in addition to the precooler, a cooling system mostly used in commercial turbofan engines, such as the intercooler system?

With the idea of improving the actual technology of turbojet engines, this project performs an analysis, at supersonic and hypersonic flight conditions, studying the effects and results of implementing both cooling systems simultaneously to the same thermodynamic cycle.

To achieve this goal, the experimental engine cycle is simulated using a MATLAB application, which reproduces the processes happening inside this turbojet and shows result in a graphic and numerical way in order to be compared it with simulations done before with only one of the cooling systems mentioned above.

Concluding with a study of the feasibility of the engine's manufacture taking into account current materials and technology and discussing the economic and industrial implications of the development of the mentioned engine.
