Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Attitude determination is a computationally intensive process that requires frequent iteration, often occurring at a rate of multiple times per second. Small satellites, constrained by limited computer resources such as RAM, mass storage, and clock rate, face challenges in achieving real-time precision in attitude determination.

This study investigates various algorithms to evaluate their respective demands on computer resources, and their consequent impact on the accuracy and stability of solutions.

Overview (resum en anglès):
In the late years, missions performed by CubeSats have become very popular in both
the academic and commercial world, the ambition and complex requirements of these
missions have increased, and so the accuracy of attitude determination and control. This
thesis is in the context of the design of Photsat, a 12-unit CubeSat, and aims to compare
different attitude determination algorithms, so that the advantages and disadvantages of
these are clarified and can provide a general idea about the choice of one of the algorithms
depending on the mission requirements as well as the capabilities of the on-board system.
