    GR ENG SIST AEROESP
Tipus: Individual

Lloc de realització: EETAC

Segon director/a (UPC): PONS PRATS, JORDI

Paraules clau:
Hydroports, Airport operational requirements, Route design

Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
The project will focus on developing and analyzing the operational requirements for two hydro ports located in 2 Rias, with the objective of establishing the initial route for a theoretical new airline, like those already existing in Canada or Norway. Financial requirements will not be assessed in this project to prevent project extension.
The project will specifically concentrate on creating the inaugural route between two new hydro ports situated along the Galician coast. Additionally, it will involve conducting an operational study for these hydro ports, including an analysis of their locations, meteorological conditions, obstacle assessment, and the selection of a suitable route and aircraft for that range.
Preliminary points to be analyzed at the project:
1. General location study for the hydro ports
2. Study of weather conditions
3. Obstacle assessment
4. Operational constraints for both hydro ports
5. Selection of the suitable aircraft
6. Selection and design of the route
7. Design of the arrivals and departures

Overview (resum en anglès):
The project will focus on developing and analyzing the operational
requirements for two hydroports located in two estuaries, with the objective of establishing the initial route for a theoretical new airline, similar to those already existing in Canada or Norway. Financial requirements will not be assessed in this project to prevent extending its scope.

The project will concentrate on defining the new route, locating the water runways and necessary infrastructure for seaplane operations, selecting the suitable aircraft for the route, and defining the final route and procedures in order to optimize seaplane operations.
