Overview (resum en anglès): | |
This final degree project is part of the Tello Engineering Ecosystem, an initiative of the School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering of Castelldefels, which aims to expand the capabilities of Tello drones through various technical and creative applications. The main objectives of this work are: to improve the web app designed for controlling Tello drones, to experiment and create a show with multiple drones, and to create magic effects using Tello drones.
To achieve the first two objectives, the project is structured into two key work areas: optimizing the existing web app and implementing new functionalities that allow for more intuitive and efficient control of the drones, both individually and in swarm mode. Notable improvements include the simplification of the user interface, the integration of new functionalities such as the wave movement, and the possibility of performing an indoor drone show, such as in the EETAC auditorium. Additionally, the project includes a study of image processing techniques and neural networks. In particular, a system for the automatic detection of dice faces has been implemented using erosion and dilation techniques. Furthermore, a neural network has been trained for the detection of playing cards, enabling the creation of magic effects with drones, thus opening a new module within the drone circus that the ecosystem offers. |
