Overview (resum en anglès): | |
This project aims to create a portable system for health care and monitoring of physiological parameters in flight. It will allow an advanced diagnosis of the medical situation of a passenger and to know possible health anomalies. The pilot, the crew or the person in charge of the airport will be able to have information about the patient's situation allowing to act according to it. It will be an inexpensive, scalable system, accessible to everyone and easy to operate. Moreover, it will be a generic system with adaptable hardware and software platforms that can be expanded and/or modified in the future. It will work with a wired and wireless transmission, in real time with graphical presentation and storage.
In order to achieve the best possible diagnosis, we will work with a multichannel platform with up to 8 channels of 24 bits. These will be displayed with a frequency of up to 1 kSPS in real time. The wireless communication will be low power consumption allowing a significant improvement in efficiency and long-term portability. These features will greatly differentiate it from the devices currently on the market. An example would be Bitalino or OpenBCI, two manufacturers that offer acquisition systems starting at around 300 €. In this way our system offers an improvement not only in performance but also with a notable difference in price. |
