This document contains the final thesis (TFG) where an HMC-1002 AMR magnetic sensor is characterized to meet the requirements for the LISA space mission to be carried out in 2034.
It first explains the LISA mission along with a brief explanation of gravitational waves. Different magnetic sensors and their uses are then compared and the AMR is finally selected. Then the typical noise of an AMR sensor and its reduction techniques are discussed. Measurements are then carried out simulating an AMR with a Wheatstone bridge and, finally, measurements are carried out with the AMR where it is compared if it meets the requirements of the LISA mission. |
