Overview (resum en anglès):
The project described in this document was developed for the company Giesecke + Devrient, which is dedicated to developing secure technologies for the secure payment, trusted connections, identification and digital infrastructure protection sectors.

G+D owns an Operating System update mechanism that appeared as a technological necessity and is based on a file containing commands that are sent to the secure element so that it can receive them, process them and perform the Operating System update through a terminal or a reader.

The project is about a Graphical User Interface that facilitates the process of creating Operating System update files on smart cards, by calling internal tools of the company.

The developed Graphical User Interface has to be friendly and simple to improve the user experience during this process who do not need to have knowledge of the development environment. The use of this tool is exclusive for the G+D company and the project has been marked as confidential, so no explicit code developed will be seen, nor will it deal with confidential content of the company.

Throughout the development process we have worked under the G+D framework, making use of the tools, facilities, devices and methodologies established in it.

The document contains the contextualization of the situation where a technological need arises, the initial approach, the work methodology, the requirements and functionalities to be developed, the appropriate tests to verify the correct operation and the conclusions.
