Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
The use of the magnetic north for navigation purpose requires to
update the related information, publications and tools according
to the annual declination rates. The associated cost could be
huge, while it is also affecting avionics and procedures, so
safety.
The proposal is aimed to perform an overall assessment of the
cost from any perspective; accounting from financial cost at the
ANSP, and Civil Aviation authorities, but also operators, and
pilots and aircraft owners. Safety concerns have to be also
considered.

Steps to follow along the project are:
- Current Navigation procedures and tools;
- Identification of the implications to switch to True North
- Assessment of the change in Spain.
