Overview (resum en anglès):
The use of technology as a tool for assisting blind people is becoming increasingly common in our society. This project carries out a study of the feasibility of using drones for this task.
This study is intended to demonstrate, both theoretically and practically, that a system used to warn of an obstacle in a blind person¿s surroundings is feasible and can be integrated in a drone.

For the development of the project, it is chosen to work with a laser sensor for the detection of obstacles, which requires the interaction of a servomotor to perform a sweep of the space to be analysed.
To perform the communication between the system and the user who makes use of it, it is decided to use Bluetooth technology, thus incorporating a Bluetooth module into the system itself, and a mobile application capable of alerting the user by sound signals and vibrations. In this way, it is possible to report the presence of an obstacle with a technology that does not use threads or any other invasive device for the person who makes use of it.

In the theoretical part of this work, it is made a compilation of the different technologies used for the detection of obstacles, as well as a comparative study of all of them. Analysing the positive and negative aspects it is possible to find the best solution for the project development. The elements to carry out communication are also chosen.
It is decided to work with the VL53L0X laser sensor, the MG995 servomotor and the Bluetooth HC-05 module.
At this point, it is made a feasibility study, a characterization, and a detailed design for the hardware and software of the system, both for the object detection part and for the Bluetooth communication.

In the practical part, the feasibility of the system must be corroborated. In this way, the system, designed according to the theoretical criteria, is performed, a little demonstration is made, and the results obtained are analysed to draw the conclusions.
