Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
actualment. L¿estudi intenta respondre a dues preguntes
conserven actualment)?
Overview (resum en anglès):
Purchase habits, perceptions and consumer attitudes are changing due to COVID-19. People have learned to live together in a health crisis with the result that consumption is adapted to the new circumstances. This study has tried to identify changes in the purchase and consumption of foods due to COVID-19, to purchase changes in purchasing habits before the pandemic, during lockdown and now in the province of Barcelona. To do this, a semi-structured and stratified online questionnaire for sex, age and comarca was performed in late December 2021. The questionnaire gathered information about current perceptions due to COVID-19, the major changes in purchase, food consumption, diet, personal habits and wastefulness. Also, the socio-demographic characteristics of respondents. This survey included 1,036 respondents (of a representative sample). According to this study, restrictions adopted by the authorities to curb the spread of COVID-19 forced consumers to decrease the frequency of purchase and increase the volume of purchase. Now, the frequency of purchase has been restored to the pre-pandemic level and the habits according to the respondents have not changed or changed very little. The most representative changes that have occurred during this period have been the increase in interest and motivations to consume proximity products
