Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Currently, scented consumer products are bought in increasing amounts and its popularity is increasing. This kind of industry can produce several gaseous emissions, which can impact over the environment. The analysis of the odour emissions can be an interesting way to define their impact.
The aim of this study is to investigate the odorous emissions from an aroma production industry located in Italy. Air samples from this industry will be measured and analysed to evaluated the aroma emissions. Technical interpretation of the obtained data will be performed for further improvement of the related processes.

Orientació a l'estudiant: We are looking for a student who has the ability to interpret and analyse obtained results and specialised literature, is organisational, critical and proactive way. The work schedule will be agreed with the student, but availability in the mornings or afternoons (4-6 hours a day) is expected to complete the bachelor's thesis. (Bi)Weekly meetings with will be performed with the UPC tutors.
