Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
El proyecto tiene por objeto el desarrollo de un modelo de evaluación económico-
financiero de un sistema de movilidad aérea urbana considerando los requerimientos de
la operativa.

Overview (resum en anglès):
Urban air mobility (UAM) is inching closer to reality. For over a decade, several institutions
and companies from all over the globe have been competing to be the first to offer this
service. As a result, by the end of this decade, we may witness the first services of this
innovative transportation system.
Although its implementation won¿t be a simple task, the potential benefits that could arise
from its deployment far outweigh any potential risks. The main objective of this project is to
analyze the feasibility and potential of urban air mobility as an innovative solution to future
challenges of urban mobility.
Specifically, this project focuses on assessing the financial feasibility of implementing an
urban air mobility business in the city of Barcelona. At the end of this document, the aim
is to provide answers to the following questions:
¿ How profitable could an urban air mobility business be in Barcelona?
¿ On the contrary, what factors could jeopardize the profitability of the business?
In order to achieve this, a model has been developed for determining the necessary resources, their associated costs, and ultimately conducting an assessment of the future
potential demand of the city.
Finally, a thorough financial study has been carried out by developing a profit-and-loss
template adapted to project finance. Various variables have been incorporated into this
template to generate result charts. All of this has been done with the aim of obtaining the
most relevant and significant financial conclusions so as to address the previously raised
questions.
