This project deals with the study and concept of Electric Vertical
Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) vehicle This new generation of VTOL aircraft aims to fly more economically and environmentally than ever by combining the convenience of vertical/short takeoff and landing like a helicopter with the efficient aerodynamic flight of an airplane. The objective is to build on an ongoing project to study and calculate the entire structure of the ONA DLC model (4-seater eVtol) developed by OnAerospace Company. Working together with different departments of the Project: Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Structure & Electronics. The work plan will be as follows: 1) Primary research of the eVtol industry and analysis of how they work with structures. 2) Study and implementation of materials for the main structure of the aircraft. 3) Study and implementation of construction for the main structure of the aircraft. 4) Study and implementation of the materials for the secondary structure of the aircraft 5) Study and implementation of construction for the secondary structure of the aircraft. 6) Study of the fatigue and damage tolerance to the structure of the aircraft. 7) Study and assembly different parts of the aircraft and their different systems. |
