DYNAMO is a trajectory modelling simulator, which enables trajectory prediction and trajectory optimization. DYNAMO is an in-house research software by UPC, ICARUS-ATM research group. From different types of inputs, including flight intents, weather conditions, air space structure, among others, the tool is able to get the flown or optimal trajectory of the plane.
The tool is not comparing the interaction of several flight trajectories, so it is not able to account for conflicts and their resolution. The TFG proposal aims to take DYNAMO trajectories and implement conflict detection and resolution strategies. Incremental complexity level is foreseen the analysis of limited to large number of planes with a large number of potential conflicts The working plan of the project includes: State-of-the-art analysis on trajectory modelling, and conflict detection and resolution.
