| Nowadays, generative artificial intelligence in the aerospace industry is a burgeoning field, employing the most innovative techniques and advanced models to be highly useful. These applications can be observed in the field of Air Traffic Management (ATM), encompassing practical aspects such as optimizing air routes, generating flight plans, managing air traffic, proposing maneuvers to avoid conflicts, and more. Therefore, the proposal for the TFG will focus on conducting a state-of-the-art analysis of generative artificial intelligence in the aeronautical world. The idea is for the student to carry out a systematic research and up-to-date assessment of technological, research and developments advancements in this field up to the present day, utilizing research publications and technical documents that have already been published in the last 5 years. The purpose of this study is for the student to explain the uses, the fundamentals of the methods and subsequently provide a comprehensive view of the existing use cases, aiming to synthesize the current status of this innovative application. Additionally, it could explore future objectives and goals and, ideally, the student may offer their own insights into progress with a well-formed understanding of the subject matter. | |
