Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
All companies must comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which is the European data protection law. This regulation, which came into effect on May 25, 2018, establishes strict rules on how companies must manage and protect the personal data of European Union citizens. Its objective is to return control of personal data to individuals and simplify the regulatory environment for international business by unifying regulations within the EU.

Small companies face greater challenges due to a lack of infrastructure and resources to invest in compliance, although they are legally required to do so. This project is based on a real case where the necessary steps to comply with the GDPR for a small technology company are analyzed. These steps are detailed and implemented, serving as a guide for other similar companies in the sector. The project includes lessons learned and best practices.

GDPR compliance involves several aspects, such as obtaining explicit user consent, implementing adequate security measures to protect data, notifying security breaches within 72 hours, and ensuring users' rights to access and delete their data. Through this project, each of these aspects is addressed, providing practical solutions for small technology companies to effectively and efficiently comply with the GDPR.
