| The aim of this project is the development of miniaturized L-Band filters for SMOS applications. The filters will be developed in electroacoustic technology and the project will consist of the synthesis and design up to the electroacoustic and electromagnetic level of several configurations of filters. All the designs are required to meet the specification of the filters in terms of insertion losses, selectivity and out of band rejection. Parasitic effects will need to be included in the simulations.
The project will comprise the following tasks: - Proposal of different ladder topologies - Synthesis and evaluation of the filter topologies with the BVD model - Filter design and computation of the resonator dimensions. Evaluation of the resonators and the filter behaviour with the Coupling-of-modes model - Inclusion of parasitic effects and EM and hybrid simulations |
