Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Starting from an existing server developed in C#/SQL, which processes surveillance data (Radar/ADS-B) and departure flight plans, the first objective of this project is the redesign of the server to process surveillance and flight plan data for arrivals at Barcelona-El Prat Airport (LEBL).
This will involve API calls for the processing of ASTERIX CAT048 and CAT021 data, as well as the parallel processing of arrival flight plans, including their subsequent parsing, geographic and temporal filtering, altitude correction, and merging with flight plan data.
The aim is to accumulate a sufficiently large volume of processed data stored in MariaDB database tables, covering several months of air traffic during 2025 and 2026.
The second objective is the design and development of a client application in C# that accesses the database and computes a set of Air Traffic Management (ATM) performance indicators, including:

-Distances between consecutive arrivals at the runway threshold and at 4 NM from the threshold, to assess compliance with the Letter of Agreement (LoA) between the TMA and TWR.

-Sampling of Indicated Airspeeds (IAS) of arriving aircraft at different distances from the runway threshold.

-Calculation of time-to-landing for arrivals at different distances from the runway threshold.

The client application shall be capable of exporting results in CSV format and storing these results in a new database table.

It will also manage and track the days processed by the server and the days for which indicators have been calculated.

Finally, the results stored in the CSV files are intended to be visualized using Power BI.
