Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Physical UICC cards are a fundamental component of mobile network security, responsible for subscriber authentication and the protection of sensitive identity credentials across billions of devices worldwide. As cybersecurity threats grow in complexity and regulatory requirements evolve, the need for rigorous, standardized security specifications for UICC products has become increasingly relevant, both for manufacturers seeking to demonstrate the security of their products and for the broader telecommunications ecosystem that depends on them. This project develops a structured security specification document for physical UICC products, adapted from existing industry standards and providing a reusable reference that manufacturers can adopt as the basis for formal security certification. The result addresses a recognized gap in the current landscape of UICC security documentation, offering a vendor-neutral artifact aligned with modern security requirements and suitable for use in formal product evaluation processes.
