Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
The objective of this TFG is the design, construction, and validation of a portable, low-cost experimental setup for the educational demonstration of quantum cryptography principles (BB84 protocol) in classrooms and science fairs. The platform combines the optical manipulation of polarized states of light with electronic signal processing of light detected via photovoltaic sensors and an Arduino microcontroller.

The project involves:
1. Literature Review and Background Study: Theoretical analysis of the BB84 protocol and classical analogies for quantum state manipulation. Design of the needed optical circuit.
2. Electronics and Firmware Development: Breadboard wiring and Arduino C/C++ programming for analog signal acquisition, detection threshold calibration, and LED control.
3. Experimental Testing and Validation: Execution of the BB84 protocol, verification of deterministic vs. random measurement behavior depending on basis matching, and evaluation of Eve's impact on key generation.
4. Final Report and User Manual: Technical documentation of the prototype and preparation of a step-by-step user guide for outreach activities.
 
Orientació a l'estudiant:
- Basic concepts in optics and quantum physics (polarization, wave plates, beam splitters, qubit states).
- Fundamentals of basic electronics and programming in the Arduino environment (C/C++).
- Skills or strong interest in 3D CAD design and printing.
- Interest in experimental physics and scientific communication/outreach.
