Descripció del contingut i pla d'activitats:
Fomentar l'educació ambiental des de ben petits és clau si volem crear conscienciació de la importància de la protecció del medi ambient. Gràcies als jardins sensorials, l'alumnat podria establir vincles amb la realitat aplicant els seus coneixements previs de l'aula per ajudar a la construcció del seu coneixement i crear un espai segur i agradable d'aprenentatge actiu i dinàmic.
En aquest treball final de grau es planteja una proposta d'un jardí sensorial mòbil per alumnes d'educació infantil amb vegetació adaptada al clima mediterrani litoral català. El projecte inclou la selecció d'espècies vegetals (depenent de si són atractives per la vista, olfacte, tacte, oïda o gust), el disseny de l'espai, la programació i l'execució del projecte, l'aproximació de costos, el manteniment i els plànols pertinents, a més d'un exemple pràctic a l'Escola Castell de Dosrius.

Overview (resum en anglès): This document reflects the proposal for a modular sensory garden focused on early childhood education (from 3 to 6 years old).
Starting from a standardized model, where all the modules are organized and unified into single space, the proposal is then exemplified in a real case, the "Escola Castell" in the
municipality of Dosrius (Catalonia). Therefore, the standard model is redesigned to adapt to the conditions of this environment.
The design is developed from a theoretical framework based on bibliographic research on sensory gardens, sensory development in early childhood (second cycle), and the
educational and therapeutic benefits of the sensory garden for children.
With these knowledge foundartions, a review of existing sensory gardens is madre, both in the private and public spheres in Catalonia, the rest of Spain and some cases abroad.
Complementing the research, three experts in the naturalization of school playgrounds, sensory gardens and social and therapeutic horticulture are interviewed.
Regarding the design of the standardized model, the elements that make up the proposal are detailed, along with their functionality and distribution. Aspects such as accessibility, materials used, criteria for species selections and the irrigation system are also specified.
For the implementation of the design at "Escola Castell" the project's foundations are outlined, and the proposal is explained. Since this Final Degree Project is part of the studies in agricultural engineering, emphasis is placed on the selection of plant species.
Additionally, an estimated timeline of the construction phases is presented, along with an approximation of costs and the sustainability of the project.
Finally, a section dedicated to future lines of research is included, where suggestions derived from the creation of the modular sensory garden for children are provided, with the
aim of offering ideas for the continuation and expansion of this work.
